(Philip Nadela with his uncle James)ABS-CBN Network launched Pinoy Dream Academy's, "Little Dreamers Competition," last July 6 of this year. This contest featured twelve children, ages six to ten, with excellent singing talents. One competitor of this said event is "Philip Nadela"- a nine-year old boy wonder from General Santos City who was recognized as the "FIRST LITTLE GRAND STAR WINNER " garnering 191,060 or 40.47% of over-all text votes. His winning piece was "You raise me Up" which is one of Josh Groban's Hit. Little grand Star Dreamer Philip won a Home Theater from Sony, a House and Lot from Globe Asiatique, and one million peso cheque.
On the other hand, Amy Nobleda- a six-year old girl from Las Piñas- landed as Pinoy Dream Academy's 2nd Little Dreamer. She got 31.03% or 146,478 text votes and took home P500,000 cheque as her prize. Angelo Garcia, six year old from Oriental Mindoro, was the 3rd Little Star Dreamer. He got 28.5% or 134,559 text votes and won P300,000 cheque as prize. All these kids are spectacular and no one goes home a loser.
I am proud of Philip and his victory wouldn't be possible without his parent's support and comfort, his friend's shouts and the non-stop text votes of his loyal fans. I admit, little Philip never failed to amaze me. He has a great voice and energetic moves which made people wonder where it came from for he owns a petite body. He is just like Philippines another Charice Pempengco. A kid whom Filipinos can be proud of. Way to go Philip!
